FLEX PRIME CERAMIC 80 - SELF HEALING EPU, SOLAR WINDSHIELD PROTECTION FILM, 1.80X1.52M WIDTH, is a stone-chip resistant film COMBINED WITH SOLAR PROTECTION, made from a new generation of high-clarity EPU (elastomeric polyurethane) materials, superior to TPU or PET films. The film surface is coated with a special dirt-repellent lacquer, with micro-scratch self-healing at 50°C, super hydrophobic, oleophobic, and allows the wipers to glide smoothly. To the touch, the outer surface of the film is similar to the screen surface of premium smartphones. 

The film does not require thermoforming during installation. Depending on the environment in which the vehicle is used, the approximate durability is 12 months from the installation date, with the maintenance recommended by the manufacturer. This film is manufactured in South Korea by INTERCONIX Co. Ltd, certified ISO9001 and ISO14001.

Warranty coverage starts on the installation date of FLEX PRIME EPU™ and extends for the period of ownership by the original registered owner of the vehicle. This warranty is non-transferable and ends when the vehicle is sold to another owner.

THE WARRANTY COVERS:

- adhesive separation from the film

- delamination of the component layers (not cracking of the lacquer)

- yellowing

If the product is considered defective under this warranty, the seller will replace the quantity of film proven to be defective, but not the replacement labor.

The film does not require thermoforming during installation. We recommend checking the windshield for optical defects before applying the film. The film amplifies these optical distortions / waves, but the cause is not the film, rather these “waves” from the glass casting and bending process. Some windshields may have these defects, others may not. An example of optical distortions here:

NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY:

The warranty does not cover repair or replacement of the windshield in case of breakage, haze, scratches or stains appearing on the surface of the film throughout its period of use, or any optical distortions, and does not cover any damage or fines received due to the legislation of the respective country.

The warranty is void if the product has been subjected to extreme mechanical or chemical abuse, improper care or maintenance, uncontrollable circumstances such as storms, hail, tornadoes, etc. The seller is not responsible for resulting losses, damages or expenses.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

To maximize the lifespan of the FLEX PRIME EPU™ windshield film, follow these instructions for proper care and maintenance:

- clean the film whenever necessary with washing solutions that DO NOT contain alcohol, ammonia, corrosive substances and solvents, chemicals and caustic materials, including solvent-based cleaners such as isopropyl alcohol or other acidic or corrosive materials.

- use clean, non-abrasive materials for cleaning

- do not remove snow and ice from the windshield using scrapers or other special tools for this purpose; we recommend removing ice by heating the windshield

- clean stains and traces of insects, bird droppings and other hard-to-clean stains as soon as possible, especially during summer.

- do not use the wipers on a dry windshield

- replace worn wipers on time

- do not use windshield washer fluid based on alcohol, ammonia or chemical solvents

- use windshield washer fluid containing regular detergent
